Vice President Naidu launches the India-Qatar Start-Up bridge in Doha

On Sunday, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu spoke at a business community conference in Doha, Qatar, about India and Qatar’s positive financial alliance, which is strengthening “every passing day.” He told the representatives of the India-Qatar Business Forum that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “mantra” has helped eliminate roadblocks and outdated legislation to order to “reform, perform, and transform” bilateral cooperation and asset cooperation between the two countries. It’s worth noting that Doha is the final stop on VP Naidu’s three-nation tour, which began with Gabon on Monday (June 1).

In the last two years, the Qatar Investment Authority has made $2 billion in investments in Indian companies, according to the VP. He expressed hope in the corporate convention, expressing the hope that it will serve as a platform for more “exchange of new ideas and the formation of new partnerships.” He also emphasized the importance of the Joint Task Force, which was formed by the Joint Business Council and Business Chambers to address investment-related issues and “move its work forward.”

In the meantime, Vice President Biden paid a visit to Father Amir H.H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. He then met with H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, at Amiri Diwan. H.E. Dr. Hanan Mohammad Al Kuwari, Minister of Public Health, and H.E. Mr. Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, were also present at the event. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in an assertion that “both sides positively evaluated diplomatic cooperation and agreed further to enhance their ancient companionship in all places.”

VP Naidu reiterated India’s commitment to deepening multi-faceted- faceted bilateral ties in trade, investment, energy, food security, defense, technology, heritage, schooling, health, media, and people-to-people contacts during the convention. He also expressed gratitude to Qatar’s leadership for “looking after” the Indian diaspora. “Both sides expressed a desire to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation,” according to the MEA.
