Roadies – Challenges Har Kadam Par! Season1 – How it Starts

MTV Roadies is a reality show which is a youth entertainment show. The show was launched and aired in the year 2003.

It still airs on MTV TV and is even available on the OTT platform “voot”.

”In this show, a group of contestants travel to different destinations in India and abroad. They participate in various tasks that challenge their physical, social, and mental strength on daily basis. Diamond Pictures initiated the show with a prize money Rs. 5 Lakhs.

Beginning of Roadies Season1

The show was created by Raghu Ram, Rajiv Lakshman, and RJ Amit altogether. they tried to bring a show which can test an Indian youth who will be called a Roadie. Although They left the show in the year 2014. They told the media that they had done enough to popularize and had taken enough love from the show and wanted to give opportunities to the new generation who can carry the show forward with more zeal and creativity. With a 17-year history, it is one of India’s longest-running reality shows who targets the youth directly.

During the entire journey of the show, there are vote-outs, vote-ins, eliminations, and game-changing twists. Eventually, the contestant who manages to survive vote-outs and succeed in the final round, after winning the hardest tasks is chosen as the winner.

Indian really enjoys the full drama and adventure all in one so gaining a new audience day by day.

The location and the tasks are very creative which keep up with the expectations very well.

The first two seasons had pressure on the daily budget allocated to the contestants. During the show, apart from learning about India’s diversity.

Also this game creates a lovely couples as this show involves some tasks in which contestants get to know each other forming a deep bond between Male and females.

The tasks became more challenging and interestingly more creative from the third season onwards which does invite tougher contestants and drama. The prize money for the show was 5 lakhs and the winner was Ranvijay Singha.

More about Ranvijay Singha

Rannvijay Singh Singha is an Indian actor who is 39 years old and also a television personality and a very popular VJ. Rannvijay is famous for his appearance in MTV Roadies in first season. Where he even won the show. He has been part of the show from 2004 to 2019 and continues to do so,  initially as a contestant, then as a gang leader, and now as a host. He is also an important and creative part of the judging panel for auditions from season 8 to season 16.

His hard work and dedication gave him a chance to work with directors and he made his Bollywood debut in Toss: A Flip of Destiny (2009).  Later Rannvijay also acted in London Dreams and Action Replay starring big Bollywood stars like Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya rai Bachchan. Singha made his Punjabi movie debut in 2011 also, starring in Jimmy Shergill’s Dharti.

Family

Ranvijay’s father, named Iqbal Singh Singha is a retired Lt. General of the Indian Army. His mother Baljeet Kaur is a housewife and his father is retired. But he is currently posted in Syria as the UN Force Commander, his mother is a poet in her way. Owing to his father’s transferable jobs across India throughout his life, he went to nine different schools, and finally graduated from Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi,  and later he graduated from Hansraj College with a degree of B.com.

Ranvijay took an entirely new way of leading his life, career-wise as his family members have been serving in the Indian army for 6 generations. Being the first winner of roadies, the reason why he even went for the audition is to buy a bicycle for himself. 

Being an army brat, he changed his school 9 times during his academic life. 

His digital career is on a great track,  as he has been a part of various shows such as,
