While sharing his excitement for the show and being the host Sonu said: “I am overjoyed to begin my journey with ‘Roadies’ shoot. It is one reality show I have been following very closely over the years and it’s great to see youngsters overcoming their fears and challenging their physical abilities on a daily basis, and I am very excited to add my flavor to it. I am sure it will be a journey like no other.
Earlier in an interview, ex-host Rannvijay spoke about why he was no longer a part of Roadies. Rannvijay informed the media that “I am the only consistent person who has done MTV Roadies for the last 18 years. Due to his prior commitments, Covid restrictions, date shifting and shooting in South Africa, now things are different at my end. It just so happened that I am not able to do it this season which he is really upset about.
He even wished Sonu Sood and all the contestants all the best and wished them all the love and luck. He even said that the key to winning any season of Roadies is to be hardworking, clever as well as smart.
