Dalit sister rape in Lakhimpur Kheri

Lakhimpur Kheri is the largest district in Uttar Pradesh on the border with Nepal. It is administrative capital is the city of  Lakhimpur Kheri and it is a part of the Lucknow division. It is 75 years of independence we common orate but are we really free from all the social evils?

Why can we say freely that women are free? Is that so? The saddening reality is NO!  We cannot say that even in Amrit Kaal our sister, mother, and daughter’s houses are not safe.

Why women are not safe in their own country?

A hilarious brutal rape has been done in Uttar Pradesh Lakhimpur Kheri where 6 men assault two Dalit sisters who were maintaining their house through some work at home by silai and stitching the clothes. Strange thing is that no protest in the country by women has been conducted yet, it is not only UP but today women are not safe anywhere not even at home in such a scenario there is a need to urge women to raise their voice as they are part of the democratic country.

Here the matter is not the caste but the concerning point is women

On Thursday police arrested 6 people named Junaid, Sohail, Arif Hafiz, Karim Uddin, and chotu for sexually assaulting 2 minor Dalit girls and brutally murdering them in the  Lakhimpur Khari area of Uttar Pradesh the police officer investigating the case said that the accused Junaid was shot in his leg when he tried to run away during his arrest. Once again this place came into the limelight for the same rape instance isn’t this reflecting the government’s inefficiency to curb the rape in the state of Uttar Pradesh?
