Prime Minister Modi launched the Jan Samarth Portal for credit-linked government initiatives on June 6, 2022. The Prime Minister attended the Ministry of Corporate Affairs ‘Iconic week celebrations’ at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi. As a portion of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav,’ the legendary week (June 6-11) is commemorated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also unveiled a Digital Exhibition at the event, which chronicles the 8 journeys of two ministries (the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs).
PM Modi said during the inauguration of the ‘iconic week celebrations’ that the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is “not just an occasion to celebrate, fulfill, and re-energize the aspirations of an independent India.”
Jan Samarth Portal, according to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), is a one-stop digital portal that connects government credit strategies. Jan Samarth Portal is a one-of-a-kind framework that will link claimants with lenders directly.
Objectives of the scheme:
The Jan Samarth Portal’s main goal is to promote encompassing learning and expansion across different sectors by guiding and providing them with the appropriate government aid through straightforward digital processes. The Government of India’s Jan Samarth Portal guarantees end-to-end coverage of all linked schemes.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi uncovered a digital exhibition that chronicles the eight-year journey of the two ministers of finance and corporate affairs.
PM Modi also unveiled a miniseries of Rs 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10, and Rs 20 coins. Such special coins feature the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav logo and are easily recognized by visually impaired people.
The bit funds will serve to remind Indian citizens of Amrit Kaal’s goals and encourage them to contribute to the country’s development.
