MTV Roadies Season 15

A Youth based show MTV Roadies is a reality programme. It debuted in 2003 and is broadcast on MTV India. On Voot, the show is also accessible digitally.

A group of contestants go to various locations and take part in numerous tasks that test their physical, social, and mental fortitude in this reality show.

Raghu Ram, Rajiv Lakshman, and RJ Amit came up with the idea for the programme. In 2014, they exited the programme. They told the media that they had done enough to make the show successful and that they wanted to give the younger generation the chance to continue the show. It is one of India’s longest-running reality series with a 17-year history.

There are vote-ins, vote-outs, eliminations, and game-changing shocks along the way. The final winner is the contestant who makes it through vote-outs and wins the grand finale. The programme has had some success with young people. The executive producer responded, “Roadies contains travel, adventure, and drama,” when questioned about the programme.

1. Raftaar

Dilin Nair, best known by his stage name Raftaar, is an Indian rapper, songwriter, dancer, TV personality, and music composer who is most closely linked with Hindi and Punjabi music. He was born on November 16, 1988.

He began his professional dance career. In 2008, he started his rap career by recording songs and posting them on social media with Lil Golu and Young Amli (who is now known as Ikka). He then joined the Mafia Mundeer group and began working with Yo Yo Honey Singh. Later, Raftaar left the group because of credit-related issues. Ankit Khanna helped him out by introducing him to the Punjabi band RDB, who later signed him to their record label, Three Records. Raftaar joined Manjeet Ral shortly after the RDB members parted ways (now known as Manj Musik). In 2016, he launched his solo career after signing with Zee Music Company.

2. Neha Dhupia

Neha Bedi (née Dhupia), an Indian actress and model, was born on August 27, 1980. She primarily appears in Hindi films, though she has also appeared in some Punjabi, Telugu, and Malayalam ones. She placed among the top 10 contestants for Miss Universe in 2002 and won the Femina Miss India competition. Since Season 14, she has also served as one of the MTV Roadies’ top executives.

3. Nikhil Chinapa

Indian DJ, host, and festival curator Nikhil Chinapa is frequently credited with introducing EDM to the country’s young. Because of his numerous contributions to changing the perception of dance music throughout the Indian Subcontinent, he is sometimes referred to as the Father of Indian Dance Music. He has been involved with MTV India since the late 1990s and has made appearances in a number of TV programmes, including Splitsvilla and Roadies. He was a key figure in the early years of the Sunburn Festival’s music scene and helped make DJing popular as a career.

4. Prince Narula

Prince Narula, an Indian model and actor, was born on November 24, 1990. He is primarily recognised for his work in reality television, but he has also appeared in fiction serials. The reality TV competitions MTV Roadies 12 (2015), MTV Splitsvilla 8 (2015), Bigg Boss 9 (2015–2016), and Nach Baliye 9 have all been won by Narula (2019). Additionally, he portrayed Shahnawaz “Shaan” Ali in Naagin 3 and wrestler Lakhan “Lucky” Singh Ahlawat in Badho Bahu (2016–2018). (2018).

Shweta Mehta

Shweta Mehta is a cardiologist, fitness model, engineer, and television personality from India. In the Indian state of Haryana, Fatehabad is where she was born on January 20, 1993. She earned a B.Tech in information technology and spent about five years working for an IT company before changing careers. She took home the title of the 2017 MTV Roadies Rising winner in India.
