India and its Diversity – The uniqueness of India is its diversity after being such a  large country with a large population. India represents diversity in various aspects such as linguistic and cultural diversity, religious diversity, diversity in physical features, and so on. In short, India is considered the epitome of the world. India is a diverse culture of the land, where many people share altogether bond, with varied languages and festivals. India and its Diversity.

Different forms of Diversity in India 

1) Diversity in Physical Features: India has very diverse physical features. Like in North great Himalaya lie and in West desert, please, western ghat and Eastern ghat in South India. Similarly, India has many rivers and tributaries.

2) Racial Diversity: race refers to a group of people, with the

same physical features like color, skin, etc.  India has many races, and many of them are migrated. Turko-Iranian, Indo-Aryan,  Scytho-Dravidian,  Aryo-Dravidian, Mongo o- Dravidian, Mongoloid, and  Dravidian these races can be found in India. 

3) Religious Diversity:  India is a land of diverse religions such as Hindu, Muslim, Sikhs,  Buddhist Jain Christian Parsis, and many more. India and its Diversity. For instance, in Hinduism there have sects like Shiva and Vaishnav, Islam is divided between Shia and similarly that Sikhism into Nirankari and namdhari,  Jainism in Digambar and Shwetambar, and lastly Buddhism into Hinayana and Mahayana. 

4) Linguistic Diversity: In different regions of India people speak different languages. The 8th schedule of the Indian Constitution recognized 22 Indian languages. Like, Bengali, Gujarati,  Marathi, Manipuri Urdu, and so on and so forth. These languages are officially recognized by Union Government. India and its Diversity.

5) Cultural Diversity: In different cultures, people speak different languages, and these languages are rich in literature. celebrate different festivals. For instance, Holi and Diwali in North India,  Onam in South India, Durga pooja in West Bengal eid, Christmas, guru Purnima, etc.

6) Cast diversity:  India is a country where different kinds of caste exist. It is so surprising to know that in India there are more than 3000 jatis.

Unity in diversity is the feeling of togetherness despite the presence of diversity. 

India is a country of unity in diversity. Each religion cast language culture has its own uniqueness. Travelers or visitors another day all International locals love these different colors, cultures, festivals, climates, dances, and songs. India and its Diversity. This variety makes our country attractive to visitors. Also, this is beneficial for our economy and the prosperity of the country.

Though there are different communities in India they have lived together for thousands of years. Yes, there is always a difference between different communities regarding their culture, ideology, and rituals. but they can live together by respecting Each Other views, culture, and religion. India and its Diversity.

Unity in diversity is very very important for our country because it contributes to national integration growth and development of India, and for peaceful coexistence.
