The new Hyundai Venue has a new front grille with a small square pattern in a chrome finish and black surrounds for aesthetic purposes. The headlamps are mounted on the modified bumpers, which now have new, wider air inlets in place of the fog lamps that were previously on them. The turn indicators are located on either side of the bonnet. A chrome window line, new dual-tone alloy wheels, split tail lamps with a connecting light bar, and updated graphics are among the additional improvements.

The use of black and beige on the dashboard, door pads, and seat fabric gives the inside of the cabin a contemporary appearance. An air purifier, a digital instrument panel, a four-spoke steering wheel, reclining back seats, and an electrically adjustable driver seat are further features of the new Hyundai Venue.

Alexa and Google Assistant

The Hyundai Venue now boasts 10 regional language compatibility for Alexa and Google Assistant on its touchscreen infotainment system. More than 60 linked car technologies, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, a push start/stop button, and a cooled glove box are other highlights.

Gasoline engine

The Hyundai Venue has a 1.2-liter gasoline engine that produces 82 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque as well as a 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 118 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque. The 1.5-liter diesel variant produces 240Nm of maximum torque and 99bhp of output. The Venue also offers a variety of gearbox choices, including a DCT unit, an EMT, a five-speed manual, and a six-speed manual.

From a Safety Point Of View

Only the top-spec SX(O) edition of the Hyundai Venue is now available with six airbags; all other variants only come with two airbags. Additionally, the base E variant lacks electronic assistance like the Hill Assist Control (HAC), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Brake Assist System (BAS), and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), although ISOFIX mounts are included as standard.

Comfort

The Venue nevertheless offers a comfortable ride. It effectively insulates the occupants from the severity of the surface, be it a pothole or a speed breaker. In the cabin, there are sharper bumps that may be felt, but nobody feels uncomfortable. On the highways, the ride is still smooth, and the Venue is still a reliable vehicle for lengthy trips. For family road excursions, the handling still inspires confidence and is good.

Exterior

Halogen projector headlamps have been replaced with LEDs, however, the split headlamp and indication setup from prior to the facelift is still present. Strangely, however, fog lamps have been scattered all throughout the range.

To emphasize the car’s width, the front and rear bumpers are revamped with faux silver skid plates that have horizontal black components. The rear tail-lamp, which now has a new LED light bar across the width of the vehicle to bring it in step with other Hyundai cars abroad like the Ioniq 5, is the most noticeable design modification. Even the 16-inch alloy wheels have a fresh look.

Interior

In contrast to the previous model’s all-black interiors, Hyundai’s new “greige” theme, combines beige and grey, making the interior feel lighter. The part-leatherette seats are fairly comfortable, and the driver’s seat now has electric fore-aft and recline adjustments. However, these lack the ventilation feature that competitors like Nexon and Sonet provide.

The rear seat space was one area of comfort where the Venue fell short. Hyundai has updated the vehicle, scooping out the front seats, lengthening the rear seat squab, and adding a two-step backrest reclining. Consequently, even if the wheelbase is the same, the rear seats are more comfortable than the previous model, and the general feeling of space has been increased thanks to the spacious footwells. However, due to its modest width, it will be a little tight to fit three person side by side at the back.

Final Verdict:

The Venue is a straightforward and practical small SUV with the amenities and room to delight a small family. It continues to be a solid choice in the market and will draw additional attention with its updated appearance.
