Impotance of Sacred Char Dham Yatra

A sacred tour of Char Dham is a delight for any Hindu Devotee seeking spiritual connection. Char Dham Yatra provides you with new life experiences. People believe that the Char Dham Yatra consists solely of Kedarnath, Yamunotri, Badrinath, and Gangotri.

However, a holy journey of these shrines is known as Chota Char Dham, which is nestled in the lap of the Himalayas and is considered a sacred place by Hindus.

Char Dham Yatra

Bada Char Dham consists of the four abodes of Badrinath, Dwarka, Puri, and Rameshwaram, which are located in the four directions of the country.

It is believed that everyone should perform the Char Dham Yatra once in their lifetime in order to receive a blessing from God.

The Chota Char Dham is also known as the Char Dham of Uttarakhand, whereas Bada Char Dham is a tour or visit to the four shrines in all four directions of the country.

A pilgrimage is a test of willpower, humility, and faith as the devotee travels to often difficult locations, leaving his problems at the feet of the Deity and forgetting everything except God.

A pilgrimage is a personal encounter, a direct link between the seeker and the sacred. A devotee travels on pilgrimage to see holy men and women, to worship at holy shrines, and to see Deities who reside in ancient sanctums.

A pilgrim travels to see God in order to have a life-changing, bliss-inducing, karma-eradicating encounter with the Divine. However, the Chardham Yatra was severely impacted in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with strict restrictions on travel and entry to the shrines.
