Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh are to be held on 12th November and the counting of votes is to be held on eighth December 2022, Boss Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar along with Election Commission Anup Chandra Pandey reported in the question and answer session today to the Timetable for General Election to the Authoritative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh delivered by the Election Commission, the date of issue of Paper Notification is seventeenth October 2022, and the last date for making nominations is 25th October 2022.

The date for the examination of nominations has been booked to be on 27th October 2022. The last date for the withdrawal of candidatures is 29th October 2022. The date of the survey will be 12th November 2022 and the votes will be depended on the eighth of December 2022. As per the Election Commission, in Himachal Pradesh, the electoral roll was distributed on the tenth of October 2022, north of 55 lakh electors are enlisted, out of which 55,000 are PWD electors and over 1.22 lakh are 80+ senior residents and 1.86 lakh are first-time citizens.

7,881 surveying stations will be set up across 68 Assembly Constituencies for the impending assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh. Under the commission’s drive, 142 surveying stations will be monitored by ladies surveying personnel and security personnel. There will be 37 surveying stations that will be invited by persons with disabilities. The ECI didn’t declare the dates of the Gujarat Assembly election as would be considered normal to be held before the current year’s over.
